SCOPEX-Series

ScopeX is a compact exhaust gas heat exchanger especially
designed for waste heat recovery from small gas turbines as
well as from Diesel engines Either dirty or clean process flue
gas. It could also be used as an economizer/ condensing
economizer e.g. for gas or diesel fired boilers.

Applications
ScopeX can operate with a diversity of media, including
water, steam, Tri ethylene glycol (TEG) and thermal fluid oil
(TFO).

ScopeX is built in a durable design featuring a heating surface
consisting of number of serpentine tubes arranged in a vertical
or horizontal configuration. Thus, ensures a long-term, troublefree performance and offers capacities ranging from
approximately 250-5000 kW.


The heating surface of ScopeX has been developed for easy
maintenance. Cleaning can be performed either with a
pyrolysis process when operating in dry-run mode or using
optional soot blower ports or network with compressed air, steam
or water.


With the detachable tube bundle the unit can be easily
dismantled and deeply maintained this only applies for major
maintenance

Plate & Frame Heat Exchangers

ScopePX plate and frame heat exchanger consists of a number of specially corrugated metal plates assembled in a frame and bolted between two pressure plates, one fixed and one adjustable. Turbulence is created in the liquid flow channels, which creates very high heat transfer coefficients and provides efficient heat transfer in a compact design. ScopePX plate and
frame heat exchangers are normally supplied with stainless steel plates. Titanium plates are available as an option.

ScopePX plate designs have been optimized for Media-to-Media heat transfer to provide enhanced performance in various applications.

Units are designed for a m a x o f 300 psi (2068 kPa) designs. Applications requiring higher working pressures as high as 440psi (2757kPa) can also be accommodated.

Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers

Scope MFG offers brazed plate heat exchangers for refrigeration, hydronic heating, and process temperature control applications. The heat exchanger plates and connections are made from 316 stainless steel, to provide improved corrosion resistance. Standard designs include copper brazed plates. Nickel brazing is available as an option.

Shell and tube Heat Exchangers

Scope MFG is a leading EPC contractor Designing, building and sourcing the
optimum solutions in the shell and tube heat exchangers Making use of the
smallest footprint to achieve the max output you can get from such application. This applies to all configurations of the shell and tube heat exchangers as per TEMA code, ASME sec. VIII Div.1 and 2 and to client requirement to design what best fits your needs.

Performance is guaranteed using special software tools such as HTRI and
ASPEN EDR.

Also, verification is made using hand calculations.

Also, structural integrity is addressed using PV Elite, Auto pipe vessel which
make sure we comply with ASME code, EN13445, PD5500, ABS, DNV GL, GB,
Merkblatter, AS standard or any other required structural integrity
requirements.

Pressure vessels
