Waste Heat Recovery
Economizer
- The SCOPEX Economizer is a shell and tube heat exchanger that is specially designed for waste heat recovery from exhaust gases, to aid in energy generation in combination with an ORC.
- When used in combination with Nat Gas Turbines, waste heat is harnessed and utilized, directly contributing to lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
- The Economizer assembly consists of:
- A carbon steel shell that encloses the exhaust gases.
- A finned tube bundle with serpentine-configured tubes that perform the heat exchange.

- The Gasketed Plate Heat exchangers (EJW3608 and EJW3616) known for their reliable sealing provide effective heat exchange between two fluids or gases.
- High quality Elastomeric gaskets prevent any potential heat loss or leakage.
- The flexibility of these exchangers makes them ideal for applications requiring precise temperature control and efficient heat transfer.
- The SCOPEX Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger has a compact design and provides exceptionally high heat transfer rates.
- Can be used in many heating and cooling applications, acting as condensers, evaporators, oil or gas coolers, etc.
- Constructed with Stainless Steel plates and copper brazing, it is highly corrosion resistant.

Scope ORC Technology
Our heat capture-to-power technology turns industrial waste heat and geothermal energy directly into clean electricity. It builds on a proven process called the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), but optmized to make it more efficient and cost-effective.
Here’s how it works: heat from industrial processes or the earth heats a special fluid that boils at low temperatures. The resulting vapor spins a turbine to generate electricity, then cools and recycles in a closed loop—no emissions, no waste.
By unlocking energy from heat that would otherwise be lost, our system creates new, reliable sources of renewable power for industry and utilities alike.

Chris, co-founder and CEO of Scope Technology and Manufacturing, brings over 30 years of experience in E&P and OFS companies. Previously co-founding Scout Surface Solutions, he identified a gap in the timely delivery of innovative solutions for the O&G and broader commercial industries. His expertise spans concept development, design, engineering, manufacturing, and end-user application. Known for his direct approach and ability to engage industry leaders, Chris has built global relationships with innovators, manufacturers, and distributors, fostering collaborations that drive practical advancements in equipment and solutions.

Moises is a seasoned Global Business and Technology Executive with a distinguished 20-year career spanning Fortune 100, Nasdaq 100, and FTSE 100 energy technology companies. He began on the energy operator side (PDVSA) before transitioning into senior leadership roles at Cameron, SLB, Weir Group PLC, Caterpillar, Baker Hughes, and Siemens Energy, a consultant to consultants with clients like Deloitte, Oliver Wyman, BCG and McKinsey. Moises has built and led high-performing cross-functional teams across North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East—developing and scaling product lines that have driven multimillion-dollar top-line growth and profitability in global ETO B2B markets.

EVP Business Development
Larry, a North American Sales and Operations Executive, has over 20 years of Oil and Gas experience enhancing E&P efficiency through field services and technical products. His expertise spans Down Hole Mechanical Services, Hydraulic Fracturing, OEM 6A Manufacturing, Aftermarket Service, and Equipment Importation. Larry applies a consultative approach to project management and commercialization, with strengths in Growth Scenarios, Corporate Turnaround, and Process Improvement. With hands-on field experience and executive-level insight, Larry combines practical and commercial knowledge to support customer success and advance Scope's product development.
Michael Cornelssen
EVP Engineering
Michael is an Operations Executive with more than 30 years of extensive experience in managing Operations, Quality and Engineering in the both the USA and Canada. Holding multiple US valve and wellhead related patents and being versed in API 6A, 6D, & 16C, Michael serves as the lead engineering resource for Scope Technology and Manufacturing. Versed in new product development, prototype design, testing, and commercialization, Michael is a daily contributor to the progress of new Scope Technology and Manufacturing products.
